MAGWAY DIVISION – According to the accountable person of Magway Guerrilla Warfare, they (the revolutionary alliance forces) shot dead the junta council appointed ward administrative officer Nyunt Win who helped the junta council recruit the new troops in Taungdwingyi township, Magway division.
The Guerrilla comrades shot five shots at Thila village ward administrative officer Nyunt Win at the midway point of the village in Taungdwingyi township on July 12. As a result, the ward administrative officer was killed at the scene.
Mr. Kan Gyi Maung, the accountable person of Magway Guerrilla Warfare, explained that they shot dead the ward administrative officer Nyunt Win as he helped the junta council to recruit the new troops according to the junta council’s conscription law, extorted money from the civilians and caused misery.
That attack was jointly carried out by Magway Guerrilla Warfare, Taungdwingyi Fighter Force (LPDF), Yenanthar Youth Force (Yenangyaung), and Daung Sitthi Guerilla Force (Natmauk). Mr. Kan Gyi Maung, the accountable person for Magway Guerrilla Warfare, added that they will continue dismantling every junta council pillar.
