MANDALAY DIVISION: It was known that the junta council’s air assaults over Thakyin village, Ngazun township, Mandalay division without having any battle in the region had caused (5) civilians to get wounded and (3) houses to be destroyed, as informed by local information source.
At around 11 a.m. on October 25, without having battle in the region, a jet fighter taking off from Tada-U airport was known to have dropped bombs twice and fired by machine guns to Thakyin village, Ngazun township. Mr. Maung Win, 47 years, Mr. Mya Lwin, 47 years, Mrs. Kay Thwe Maw, 45 years, Mrs. Thwe Thwe Aye, 45 years and Miss Sandar Win were wounded and three houses were destroyed due to the air assaults.
Local information source said, “There was no battle in the region. The plane taking off from Tada-U airport and shot three times: twice is dropping bombs and the last time is firing machine guns. The air assaults caused (5) civilians to be wounded and three houses to be destroyed. The civilians have to flee as the village is close to Tada-U, the civilians are being afraid of being attacked by air strikes again. The air assaults are intentionally targeting the civilians.”
