BAGO DIVISION – Comrade Bo Duyah, who is in charge of news and information of Battalion 3802 of Thayarwaddy District, said that the terrorist army poured gasoline on the homes that had not yet been burned down in Yay Ngan and Okpho villages in Letpadan township of Bago division.
On August 27, the terrorist army column entered Yay Ngan and Okpho villages of Letpadan township. It is reported that PDF forces intercepted and attacked while they were patrolling, killing many military council soldiers including 1 battalion commander under the 66th Division.
Due to the large number of casualties, the terrorist army column raided and burned down the villages of Yay Ngan and Okpho at around 9:40 p.m. that day. In addition, it is understood that the houses in the village that were not on fire this morning were poured with gasoline and set on fire again.
“It was initially heard that military dogs were killed a lot in yesterday’s Letpadan battle, including 1 battalion commander under 66th division. When we tried to pick up weapons, they fired heavy weapons from Htanpin Chaung and dropped bombs from drones, so we had to retreat. Yesterday, new reinforcements from Htanpin Chaung brought gasoline and burned the houses at night. They burnt the unburnt houses again this morning,” said Comrade Bo Duyah, who is in charge of news and information of Battalion 3802 of Thayarwaddy District.
On August 24th, the People’s Defense Force intercepted a terrorist army column consisting of more than 100 terrorist soldiers near the Yay Ngan village, killing more than 20 terrorist soldiers and capturing 10 prisoners of war. So the terrorist war council’s column move into the area there were skirmishes on ground.
