SHAN STATE – The terrorist junta army launched aerial bombings with its fighter jets over Hsipaw Town, on the early morning of August 27, killing two civilians and destroying two schools and residential houses, according to the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).
It was reported that the atrocious junta army bombarded more than 50 bombs with Y12 aircraft over Hsipaw Town, while the people were in deep sleep, from 1:20 a.m., to around 2:00 p.m., on August 27.
During the bomb attacks, two people, 60-year-old Mr. Phoe Lu and 50-year-old Mr. Aung Naing, were killed on the spot and two others were injured.
During aerial bombardments by the terrorist junta army, the bombs landed and exploded at No. (3) Basic Education Primary School and No. (3) Basic Education High School in Oke Kyin Ward and Pan Tein (North) Ward and destroyed the school buildings and residential houses.
It was said that 21 civilians were killed, including 10 children, and 59 people were injured due to the junta’s airstrike attacks and artillery shelling in Hsipaw Town, from August 1 to 27.
