BAGO DIVISION- The commander in charge of Taungoo Urban Guerrilla (UG) Force said to the media that three (Junta) departmental offices were bombed and attacked.
On August 22, around 10:00 a.m., Taungoo Municipal Office Staff Housing (entrance), Township Electricity Department Office and traffic-police housing (entrance) were detonated with a high intensity explosives by Taungoo UG Force.
It is not yet confirmed whether the military council soldiers were harmed during the attack, but the UG soldiers were able to retreat unharmed.
“We are still investigating the details of the damage caused to the military dogs. We attacked the three departments and staffs oppressing people and affiliating with the military Junta regime in Taungoo Town,” said the soldier in charge of the Urban Revolutionary Army.
The areas where explosions occurred had reportedly been sealed off by the terrorist military council and strict inspections were carried out.
