MANDALAY DIVISION – According to the information officer of Kyaukse Revolutionary Army (KRA), the revolutionary forces blasted a junta council vehicles carrying the junta council troops on Tada U-Kyaukse road section, the western part of Kyaukse town, Mandalay division. Due to the attack, the junta council casualties resulted in.
At around 11:30 a.m. on July 18, the revolutionary alliance forces blasted a junta council vehicle carrying the junta council troops, at a place where is around two miles away from the western part of Kyaukse town, on Tada U-Kyaukse road section. As a result, some of the junta council troops were said to have been killed.
Mr. Nyan Lin, the information officer of KRA mentioned that “as we have a few difficulties to carry out our missions, I would like to appeal to the local civilians to stop the vehicles if the junta council vehicles were traveling on the road and to continue the journey only after the junta council vehicles passed. I also would like to appeal not to follow after the junta council vehicles. In this mission, we could manage not to harm the civilians. There were ammunition and five guard dogs (five junta council troops) in the back part of the vehicle and three dogs in the front room of the vehicle. The vehicle left from Tada U air force and headed towards Kyaukse town.”
That attack was jointly carried out by Kyaukse Revolutionary Army (KRA), Kyaukse People Defense Force (KPDF) and Sintgaing township People’s Defense Organisation (SPDO). Union Brother group participated as the main supporter in the attack.
