MANDALAY DIVISION – Locals reported that the terrorist junta army launched unprovoked aerial bombardments over the villages along the Myingyan – Natogyi border and in Ngazun Township.
On August 18, at around 4:05 p.m., the atrocious junta dropped four bombs over Kan Sat Kone and Min Villages in the border area of Myingyan – Natogyi Townships, without a fight.
The civilian casualties from the junta airstrike attacks have not yet been confirmed, and the residents were worried that there would be more bombings.
“The junta dogs (military soldiers) bombarded at around 4:00 p.m., today (August 18). There was no fight. It is not yet known whether the people will be affected. We are worried about more airstrikes,” said a local.
Similarly, on August 17, at around 12:00 p.m., the terrorist junta carried out aerial bombings near the school in Myay Taing Village and between Myay Taking and Yae Zin Villages in Ngazun Township, according to an official of Ngazun Township Information.
