SAGAING DIVISION – The terrorist junta army reportedly killed 26 civilians, including six children under the age of 18, in Sagaing Division in October, according to the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP).
According to the data compiled by AAPP, they had confirmed the fatalities of the civilians along with their names, who were murdered by the terrorist junta forces, segregation of 14 women and 12 men, a total of 26, from October 1 to 22. AAPP released that six children under the age of 18 were also included in those victims.
Of the 26 people who died, 11 were captured and detained by the terrorist junta forces and then killed in various ways.
On October 17, around 100 brutal junta forces of 33rd Light Infantry Division (LID – 33) invaded and raided Si Par Village in Budalin Township and committed arson attacks. In addition, they abducted some residents and brutally killed them.
Since the bloody coup d’état in Myanmar, the atrocious junta army has been killing civilians and a total of 5,871 people had been reportedly murdered from 1 February 2021 to 22 October 2024, according to AAPP.
