SAGAING DIVISION – Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) reported that the atrocious junta army murdered 334 civilians in Sagaing Division within seven months, from January 1 to July 31, and AAPP had confirmed the deceased people with their names.
The terrorist junta army killed a total of 334 people, 111 women and 223 men, between January and July 2024 in Sagaing Division, according to data collected by AAPP.
AAPP was able to confirm the names of the deceased people and 39 children under the age of 18 were included in the list.
Of those 334 victims, 105 were captured by the terrorist junta forces and killed in several ways.
During the year 2024, the terrorist army unjustly abducted a total of 23 people, including two women and 21 men from Sagaing Division, and sentenced them to prison.
According to the data collected by AAPP, there are 161 people, 29 women and 132 men who have been arbitrarily abducted by junta forces in Sagaing Division.
Among those illegally abducted 161 people, 12 people under the age of 18 were captured and imprisoned, 14 people were sentenced to life imprisonment, and a person was sentenced to death.
