TANINTHARYI DIVISION – Myeik District People’s Defense Joint Column (1) said that there was a fight with the Terrorist War Council troops who came to deliver food to the Terrorist War Council’s Light Infantry Battalion (561) near the Myay Ma Ohn village, Tanintharyi township, Myeik District, Tanintharyi Division.
The battle took place on August 9 at 5:45 p.m., and the battle lasted for 10 minutes, One soldier of the Terrorist Junta Council was killed. It was released by the People’s Defense Joint Column (1).
He said that there was no damage to the Public Defense soldiers during the battle.
Also, on August 9th at noon, the K-8W Jet Fighter from the Terrorist War Council attacked Kyauk Mikyaung village, Kwin Thit village, and Nyaungpin Kwin (east coast) village.
There were no casualties in the Arial bombing but a monastery in Kyauk Mikyaung village was destroyed.It was also warned the public to stay mindful because the military situation in Tanintharyi township is intense between the two sides.
