SHAN STATE – Locals said that three family members were killed when military council troops opened fire with heavy weapons in Minepar Village, Hsenwi Township, Northern Shan State.
It’s said that the military council opened fire without fighting on the night of November 30 in Minepar Village.
“A large weapon fell on the house. The junta army was firing from Lashio,” said a local.
Hsenwi is currently controlled by the three Northern Alliances. The military council fired heavy weapons and carried out airstrikes daily at the townships where there was military tension in northern Shan State.
On November 26, two civilians were killed and on November 27, three civilians were killed when the military council carried out airstrikes and fired heavy weapons in the battles near the Muse (105) mile trade zone in northern Shan State.
The three northern alliances have issued a warning that they will continue to attack the military camps where people are being shot and killed with heavy weapons.
