SHAN STATE – TNLA officially announced on October 14 that they have completely captured junta infantry battalion 23, the last junta base in Sibaw.
It is said that PSLF/TNLA completed the capture on the last junta base in Sibaw on October 12, gaining complete control of Sibaw.
Moreover, PSLF/TNLA was also reported to have released 191 military family members detained from light infantry battalions 503 and 504 on humanitarian basis and sent them off in four vehicles.
Junta light infantry 503 in Sibaw was captured by TNLA on September 26 and a total of 102 military family members from 38 households in the battalion: 11 men, 48 women and 43 children, were detained.
Similarly, 89 military family members from 34 households: 16 men, 39 women and 34 children were detained on September 27 after light infantry 504 was captured.
