SHAN STATE – Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) announced that they had captured the junta council’s Nampaw military camp in Muse Township, northern Shan State, seizing 32 various weapons and capturing two prisoners of war.
PSLF/TNLA reportedly captured the camp in Muse Myowa Region around 5 a.m. on December 1. PSLF/TNLA had first launched an attack on Nampaw camp on November 27 and successfully captured the entire camp five days later on December 1.
32 various weapons including a 60mm mortar, numerous ammunition and military equipment were seized from the camp and two prisoners of war were also captured alive. During the attack on the camp, the junta council is said to have conducted countless artillery strikes and at least 21 counts of airstrikes using jet fighters, five counts using Y8/Y12 planes and three counts using Mi35/Mi17 choppers.
