YANGON DIVISION – Yangon Division Military Command published on August 16 that two junta soldiers returned to legal fold under Battalion 5102, Yangon Division Military Command and were rewarded cash.
Two soldiers; Wai Lin Htet from No.2 Light Infantry Unit and Khun Kyaw Oo from No. 12 Infantry Unit (Battalion 356) under Division 44 were reportedly inspected according to protocol and rewarded cash money.
The junta soldiers who want to surrender and cooperate with the civilians are warmly welcomed by Yangon Division Military Command and they are guaranteed to be treated with dignity and secure human rights. Those who return to the legal fold with weapons will be rewarded cash, as announced by Yangon Division Military Command.
