SHAN STATE – The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) reported on August 20 that two locals were killed, and a fuel storage tank was burned down in Hsipaw due to junta airstrike and artillery attacks.
On August 18, the terrorist launched airstrike attacks on Nar Mon Ward, near Infantry Battalion – 23, killing two local men. Then on August 19 afternoon, junta artillery landed and exploded inside the AAA fuel storage tank in Kyauksu Ward of Hsipaw, causing a fire and Hsipaw Fire Brigade and the residents of the town had to put out the fire in time.
Moreover, the terrorist junta bombarded with its fighter jet over Nam Lan Village of Hsipaw Township, on August 16, injuring a woman, and two residential houses were destroyed.
From August 1 to 19, the atrocious junta army carried out targeted airstrikes and artillery attacks in Hsipaw Town, killing 14 civilians and injuring 42.
