SHAN STATE – Pa-O National Liberation Army (PNLA) said that the terrorist junta army launched artillery attacks on the villages in Hsihseng Township, killing two Pa-O ethnic teenage women and forcing over 3,000 people from more than 10 villages to flee.
On August 6, the atrocious junta army stationed at Hsihseng Town intentionally fired artillery shells over the villages on the eastern part of Hsihseng Town, and over 3,000 people from more than 10 villages have been forced to leave their homes.
In addition, the terrorist junta army opened fire on the villages in the northeast of Hsihseng Town with heavy weapons, on the night of August 6, and it landed and exploded inside Mee Yei Village.
Two displaced people from Htee Yee Village who were sheltering in Mee Yei Village, were killed due to the explosions. It was identified that the victims were two Pa-O ethnic teenage women.
The PNLA said that since August 3, the terrorist junta army has been deliberately firing heavy weapons into the villages of Pa-O areas in the eastern part of Hsihseng Township.
