YANGON DIVISION – Dark Shadow Urban Guerrilla (UG) Force announced that some junta policemen were injured in the explosive attack on Mingaladon Township Police Station and that the junta forces fired back with small weapons.
On November 20, at around 6:55 p.m., Dark Shadow forces detonated explosives at the police station at the corner of Kayaypin Road and Pyay Road in Mingaladon Township.
Some police were reportedly injured in the attack but the details of the situation are still under investigation. In addition, the terrorist military council soldiers returned fire with small arms but Dark Shadow members were able to withdraw without harm.
“Police may be harmed. Terrorist soldiers fired back at least five times with small arms. The security forces nearby were alerted but we were able to retreat safely after avoiding the strict security check,” said the Dark Shadow force commander.
Dark Shadow will continue to attack the terrorist military council soldiers who are causing trouble to the people every day and thus we request the people to avoid the places related to the military council, its soldiers, policemen, and Pyu Hti members, said the spokesperson of the urban guerrilla force.
