In Tharsi Township, Mandalay Division, the Village Administrator Mr. Kyaukhe of Thantaw village was shot and killed on Saturday, October 14.
The incident took place around 8:00 a.m. on October 14 when unknown gunmen targeted and fatally shot Mr. Kyaukhe, a prominent supporter of the junta regime. He succumbed to his injuries on the spot. It has been reported that the terrorist army, which arrived to retrieve the body, discharged five rounds of gunfire at the exit of Myaung-U village.
A resident shared, “Thantaw village’s administrator, Mr. Kyaukhe, was shot and killed at around 8 a.m. today. He was a major supporter of the army. The army brought his body around 10:00 a.m. and fired five gunshots at Myaung-U village in the west of Thantaw village.”
