MAGWAY DIVISION- The Yaw People Defense Force-YPDF announced last Saturday (November 30) that new trainees were issued personal numbers at the graduation of the batch (9) basic military training.
The graduation ceremony was held on November 26 in two sessions. During the first session, a military parade marching, saluting, drinking oak water and issuing a personal number were done. It is reported that a congratulatory speech was given at the graduation ceremony.
In the second session, a reward of 5 million kyats was given to a militia man who had defected to the YPDF with weapons, honoring and awarding money to those who helped him to defect, bring 60mm ammunition and communication equipment.
The ceremony was held at Yawnaka Hall and thirty new trainees were reportedly issued personal numbers.
The graduation ceremony was attended by allied forces officials, PDF, and PAB members. More than 200 locals also attended and cheered.
