MAGWAY DIVISION – An information officer of Pakokku District Battalion 15 reported that a monk and a civilian were injured by the aerial bombardment of junta army towards the villages in Myaing Township.
The atrocious junta army conducted airstrike using a fighter jet to Kangyitaw Village at the north of Myaing Town on September 23, at around 11:55 in the morning. The details of the casualties is not yet able to confirm.
Similarly, at noon, the monastery of Innyaung Village at the north of Myaing Town was also bombarded, and resulted injuring a monk and another civilian.
“A monk and a female civilian were injured. The monk was hit in the hand and a shrapnel hit in the chest of female civilian. The two fighter planes attacked without having a battle. The injuries are not very serious,” said the information officer from Pakokku District Battalion 15.
In addition, the terrorist army bombarded the vicinity of Letpan Hla Village in the eastern part of Singu Township at around 11:35 a.m. on September 22 with a jet fighter. The local news sources said that the damage by the junta army’s air strike could not be confirmed at present.
