SHAN STATE – The genocidal junta council dropped 500-pound bombs with its fighter jets on No. 2 Ward of Lashio City, killing one, injuring 15 and causing extensive damages, according to the locals and the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA).
On September 24, at 1:30 a.m., junta fighter jets bombarded Ya Htike Hotel and Fuli Light Hotel in No. 2 Ward of Lashio City with 500-pound bombs. Some buildings were destroyed and nine people received minor injuries due to those attacks.
Similarly, on September 24, at 4:00 a.m., the atrocious junta army carried out another aerial bombing on Lashio City with its fighter jets. The bombs landed and exploded at Lucky Gold Shop, the alley of the chicken roast shop in No. 2 Ward, killing a woman and injuring six people, said locals.
The terrorist junta army is reported to have condicted extreme airstrike attacks on Lashio City, on August 30, September 9, 10 and 21.
MNDAA has released a statement saying that the terrorist junta council has carried out brutal airstrikes on areas that are not military targets and that the people are shocked because of the brutal airstrikes that have caused a lot of damages, as well as the loss of lives and property.
