MON STATE – In Kyaikhto Township, the junta council’s checkpoint at Muppalin Intersection and the junta terrorists at Shwe Zedi Ngwe Zedi Hill were attacked with heavy artillery and five junta council troops were killed in the attacks, stated an official of All Burma Students Democratic Front (ABSDF).
On December 3 at around 11:40 a.m., the joint column of ABSDF, KNU and KRF Jungle Crow Column attacked the Muppalin Intersection checkpoint and Shwe Zedi Ngwe Zedi Hill, where the junta council had set up defenses, using 14 40mm and six 60mm mortars and one drone grenade.
A police lieutenant, a sergeant, a soldier and two police of the terrorist junta council were said to be have been killed in the attack while the revolutionary forces were able to fall back unharmed at around 12 p.m.
“One police lieutenant, one sergeant, one soldier and two policemen were killed on the spot. There were also many injured among the enemy forces. They blocked the road for over an hour to transport their injured to Kyaikhto in three ambulances,” said the official of ABSDF.
