BAGO DIVISION – The terrorist army’s temporary military camp at Nyaungbinpauk Village on Nyaunglebin-Shwekyin road in Nyaunglebin Township was attacked and ten junta soldiers were reportedly killed, according to Fire Dragon PDF.
Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) and People’s Defence Force (PDF) allied forces launched an attack at about 5 a.m. on March 29. There were about 15 junta troops at the military camp and the exchange of fire lasted for an hour and half.
“We got news that junta camp has lesser strength. They also defended and fired back. We almost got the entire camp but retreated back since their strategic camp at Shwekyin helped to fire heavy weapons and reinforced troops came from Madauk Town,” said a comrade of Fire Dragon PDF.
Ten junta forces killed and three others injured in the attack and those casualties were brought to Nyaunglebin Town using the cars from the village.
A PDF comrade and a villager had a minor injury from the shrapnels of heavy weapons fired from Shwekyin junta camp.
Hundreds of civilians from Nyaungbinpauk, Htaunglaung, Shantesu villages have been forced to flee due to military army’s continuous shelling of heavy artilleries.
Last February 28, terrorist army’s inspection gate at Moke Kha Mu Bridge of Nyaunglebin Township was also attacked, resulted three junta thugs killed and four others injured.
