MYANMAR – An official of the Khin U Special Force Organization said that two junta soldiers were killed in a mine attack on a terrorist army column in Khin U Township.
The terrorist army column was trying to enter Inpat Village from the Khin U-Monywa railway station, north of the village when the revolutionary forces attacked the junta army column on August 9, at about 6:00 a.m. by firing 40 mm and 60mm heavy weapons and small arms. It is reported that two soldiers were killed on the spot and four were seriously injured.
The attack was carried out by Khin U Special Force Organization KSO unit and the Township People’s Defence Team, and the bodies of the dead soldiers and the wounded soldiers were taken in a Super Custom car and a civilian vehicle from Ye U.
After the mine attack, the terrorist soldiers fired four rounds of 120mm heavy weapons from the base of Ye U Traditional Medicine Hospital. As a result, two men and two women Mayan Inn Village, which is located south east of Inpat village, were injured and are under medical treatment.
Meanwhile, Yesagyo Township PDF reported that the hidden sentry post near Aung Moe Crossing in Yesagyo Township, Magway Division, was shot at, killing two terrorist soldiers.
On August 8, at around 12:00 p.m., the soldiers from the terrorist army’s IB 256 in Yesagyo Township were coming to take on sentry duty at the post near Aung Moe intersection when Yaysagyo Township PDF opened fire and attacked, killing two soldiers and exchanging fire for about 15 minutes.
