MANDALAY DIVISION – Ngazun township People’s Defense Organization (PDO) issued a statement on October 31 saying that the revolutionary forces blasted the junta council column three times which have launched offensive attacks in Ngazun township, Mandalay division, on the morning of October 25. As a result, eight junta council troops were said to have been killed and 12 were injured.
The revolutionary forces blasted a junta council column including 50 troops which had left their military base camp in Natgyi village, near Htanaunggone village at around 7 a.m. Following that, the second attack was near Latpanthar village, at around 9 a.m. and the third attack was near the northern exit of Latpanthar village, at around 10 a.m.
Htanaunggone village and Latpanthar village where the junta council troops were blasted are located around 3 miles away. It was known that the revolutionary forces used 15 improvised explosive devices in a mile field.
A member of Ngazun PDO mentioned to “according to the eye witness person, the injured junta council troops were receiving medical treatments in Htanaunggone village and Latpanthar village. The dead bodies of the killed junta council troops were carried by a Tuolagi truck.”
He continued that the blasted junta council troops retreated to Tharkyin village military base camp and Natgyi village military base camp.
That attack was jointly carried out by Ngazun PDO, T.G.R People Defense Force, Myaung township T.G.R People Defense Force, Black Eagle Defense Force – Myinmu, Kyaukse district battalion 2, Myingyan district battalion 7 – company 1, Fire Dragon Guerrilla Force, 925 Guerrilla Force, TGYR Guerrilla Force, Daung Fighter Guerrilla Force, Pyi Taw Win Guerrilla Force, Latt Yone Guerrilla Force, Federal Brothers Guerilla Force, Shwe Gyo Phyu Guerrilla Force, Black Swan Guerrilla Force and Arr Mann Thit Guerrilla Force.
Similarly, on October 16, the revolutionary forces also blasted the junta council troops three times who had left Natgyi village military base camp to launch offensive attacks towards the villages. During those attacks, three junta council troops were killed.
