BAGO DIVISION – It’s been reported that the military council troops carried out an airstrike on Thamin Inn Gone Village in Kyauktaga Township on the morning of August 12 where the battle was fierce and the military council troops had high casualties on August 9.
A local said that two planes of the military council attacker Thamin Inn Gone Village three times in the morning.
“Due to the fighting the other day, military council troops lost heavily, so they bombarded this morning at Thamin Inn Gone village,” he said.
The KNLA (Karen National Liberation Army) and PDF special commando battalions attacked due to the invasion of the military council to Thamin Inn Gone Village, Kyauktaga Township, Bago Division on August 9 and more than 30 members of the military council were killed.
During that battle, three members of the KNLA and PDF coalition were also killed. More than 20 different weapons of the military council were seized by the KNLA, PDF cooperatives.
KNLA has issued an emergency warning not to travel between 6am and 6pm in the war zone including Thamin Inn Gone Village as the fighting may continue to intensify.
