MAGWAY DIVISION – The atrocious junta army bombarded at the border region of Seikphyu and Saw Townships using two fighter jets and fired arms on the evening of December 15, killing four civilians including two women.
Pine, Wongyi and Shala Villages of Seikphyu were fired with machine guns and fighter jets, while the bombing of Thanpayapin Village killed four civilians. Kya Khat and Pauktaw Villages of Saw Township which is connected to Seikphyu region were also fired with machine guns and bombed.
“We heard that the four civilians killed were from Thanpayapin Village. The bomb is believed to be a 500 pound bomb. Other villages were also fired with machine guns,” a resident of Seikphyu Township said.
A family of four including two women were reportedly killed, and the details of the victims are still under investigation.
In addition to aerial bombardment, junta thugs also fired machine guns, forcing more than 7,000 civilians from Pine, Wongyi, Shala and Thanpayapin Villages of Seikphyu Township, and Kya Khat, Pauktaw, Kyaukswea, Thonelanpyae and Yinkhaw Villages of Saw Township to flee.
After the junta council’s Kazunma police station was attacked in early December, the fascist council has been conducting airstrikes continuously, the ground forces reported.
