MAGWAY DIVISION – The military headquarters of the Ministry of Defense of the NUG announced that 7 soldiers were killed and many were injured in the attack on the Htamakauk base camp and the army column in Hsate Phyu Township, Pakokku District.
On July 18th, about 11:20 p.m., Hsate Phyu Township’s Htamakauk base camp was attacked with 3 rockets, which exploded inside the camp. Although the terrorist army opened fire with heavy and small arms, the public defense forces were able to successfully withdraw unharmed.
The attack was carried out jointly by the People’s Defense Army (PDF) Pakokku District No. 4 Battalion, 3rd Company, and the Northern People’s Defense Force (NSP) of Hsate Phyu.
In addition, it is reported that a terrorist army jeep with a strength of about 5 was attacked with landmines on July 18th, at around 9:45 a.m., west of Thapyay village, Hsate Phyu Township. The operation was carried out by Pakukku District No. 4 Battalion, Company 1. Four terrorist soldiers were killed, and one was wounded.
Similarly, the NUG, Ministry of Defense, and Military Head Quarters said that there was a battle between the Kone village and the Kyaung village, Hsate Phyu Township, Pakokku District, and Magway division that killed 3 terrorist army soldiers.
On July 13th, the terrorist military column that came out of the No. 21 Defense Equipment Manufacturing Factory was attacked by the People’s Defense Forces with small arms and clashed with each other, resulting in the deaths of 3 terrorist soldiers and 10 injuries.
The attack was carried out by Pakokku District’s People’s Defense Forces (PDF). Pakokku District, the 19th Battalion, and the People’s Defense Forces were able to withdraw without being harmed.
