TANINTHARYI DIVISION – It was reported that at least 52 battles broke out between the anti-junta Resistance Fighters and the murderous junta forces in all of the 10 townships in Tanintharyi Division except Kawthoung Township.
A total of 217 brutal junta soldiers and junta-backed Pyu Saw Htee militants killed during the clashes in July 1 to 31, while at least 36 others were injured.
10 comrades of People’s Defense Force (PDF) sacrificed their lives during the fights, ambush attacks and slaughter after abductions, while at least six others were injured, in Yebyu, Launglon, Dawei and Palaw townships.
The data was compiled and presented based on ground information source of PDFs and the locals, and the actual data are likely to be higher.
The terrorist junta encountered most casualties in Yebyu Township during a week-long battle that took place near the Ah Lel Sa Khan Village, and more than 100 of atrocious junta soldiers were killed, according to Ye Guerrilla Force.
As a special attack in July, the People’s Defense Force fired two heavy weapons into the minister’s residence in Dawei City, and the junta was also affected. Out of at least 48 battles in Tanintharyi Division in June, and a total of 66 fascist junta soldiers and pro-junta Pyu Saw Htee militants killed in the clashes, while at least 67 others were injured.
