SAGAING DIVISION – The revolutionary forces attacked a junta base in Panthar Village, Tamu Township where a combination of junta council troops and Pyu Saw Htee militants were stationed, starting from the afternoon of November 8 and the junta council bombarded using fighter jets.
A PDF comrade mentioned that “we attacked the Panther military base. I think the junta council troops on the ground got hurt, two fighter jets flew over Tamu and dropped bombs.”
It was known that two fighter jets came successively and launched aerial bombardments at 3:10 p.m.
The alliance of the revolutionary forces had attacked the combination of junta council troops and Pyu Saw Htee militants in Panthar Village, previously in June.
The revolutionary alliance forces attacked Witoke Police Station in Tamu Township on November 3 and also attacked Khampat Police Station on November 7.
Moreover, the National Unity Government (NUG) announced that the revolutionary forces have taken control of Khampat Town.
