SAGAING DIVISION – It was reported that a fire broke out in the compound of junta’s light infantry (33) headquarter in Sagaing Town on October 7 at around 3 p.m.
The Sagaing Township news agency said that the fire engines, which didn’t come when the civilians’ villages were torched by junta army, were seen going to the light infantry (33) compound and put out the fire.
“It could be at the garages on the side of the golf course. I heard it was started from wire short circuit. Four ambulances came but I don’t know any injury or how much it was damaged,” he said.
The cause of the fire is still unknown. The military council has yet to release anything about the cause of the fire.
“I saw the flames even from the town,” said a local resident of Sagaing Town.
