MYANMAR – The Arakan Army (AA) reportedly occupied Minbya, Mrauk-U, Kyauktaw, and Taungpyoletwea towns in the northern part of Rakhine State on February 6, 7, and 8. AA already captured Paletwn and Samee towns of Chin State and Pauktaw Town of Rakhine State, bringing a total of seven towns under the control of AA. Therefore, there were 41 towns occupied and controlled by the Revolutionary Forces during the Spring Revolution. Some towns may not be included in the report, as the Revolutionary Forces have not released news of the town capture, although they have captured and controlled some towns. The Revolutionary Forces have acquired and controlled 41 towns across Shan (North), Shan (South), Chin, Rakhine, Karenni, and Kachin states and Sagaing Division.
