CHIN STATE – Chin coalition force attacked a junta outpost at Thantlang in Chin State and a local media published photos of weapons seized from junta troops in the battle.
Chin National Army (CNA), Chinland Defence Force (CDF) Thantlang and CDF Zophei raided and attacked the Haukabung outpost of the junta council in Thantlang on August 14, killing three junta soldiers and capturing two alive.
In the battle, three small arms, two RPG launchers and ammunition were seized from the junta army, stated the local news report, alongside photos of the seized weapons.
The report by Chin National Front (CNF/CNA) regarding the August 14 battle stated that the Chin coalition force attacked the junta infantry battalion 269 base and managed to capture the security outpost of a company, confiscating six weapons and capturing two junta troops alive.
It was also informed that five comrades of the coalition lost their lives in the battle.
The coalition force of CNA and local defence forces attacked the junta infantry battalion 268 base in Falam on August 12 and CNF announced that the junta forces suffered heavy casualties and lost eleven weapons and ammunition.
