MANDALAY DIVISION – An official of the Wundwin Township Revolution Force (WTRF) said that a heavy weapon attack was carried out on the police station of the Pindale area in Wundwin Township, Meiktila District.
On December 26, at around 8:00 p.m., the police station in the Pindale area in the western part of Wundwin Township was attacked with heavy weapons, and three heavy weapons shells exploded inside the station, according to the official of WTRF.
The official of WTRF said that the casualties of the military group due to the attack is not yet known and the military group threatened to shoot at the people.
“We opened fire continuously. The shooting time lasted for only seven minutes. We retreated because the junta dogs (soldiers) kept firing back. The damage is unknown,” said the official of WTRF.
Residents said that after the attack on the Pindale area police station, the military council troops tightened inspections in Wundwin Township.
“They were very strict with the inspections today (December 27) as they were attacked,” said a local.
WTRF had similarly attacked Pindale police station with heavy weapons last November 6.
WTRF also warned the people from the side of junta to cooperate with the public as soon as possible and people to travel with caution at all times because revolutionary attacks are accelerating.
