BAGO DIVISION – According to Waw Township People’s Defence Organization (PDO), a junta sub-inspector and a hundred household chief were said to have been injured by a bullet while the sub-inspector was teaching a Pyu Saw Htee leader how to disassemble and reassemble a gun, in the Thaye Thamein police station, in Waw Township, Bago division.
At around 2 a.m. on December 14, the sub-inspector and hundred household chief Than Oo were hit by the bullets due to the malfunction of the gun while Pyu Saw Htee leader San Win Naing was clearing the bullets in the gun.
The accountable person of Waw Township PDO mentioned that “it was known that the bullet was jammed while the police was teaching the Pyu leader how to disassemble the the gun. When the Pyu leader hit the gun on the ground, the bullet went off and hit two junta council servants.”
The sub-inspector received minor injuries in his waist and the hundred household chief received minor injuries in his hand.
The injured junta council servants have been sent to Waw hospital.
There are more than 50 junta council servants (the combination of junta council troops, police and Pyu Saw Htee) in Thaye Thamein Village after the attack on Thaye Thamein police station.
