KACHIN STATE – It was reported that the encounters were raging at 6-mile, the entrance of Hpakant Town, and the failing junta army carried out aerial bombings with its two fighter jets, according to the news sources of Kachin Independence Army (KIA).
On February 11, at around 7:00 a.m., KIA intercepted the terrorist junta column of 33rd Light Infantry Division leaving Hpakant Town at 6-mile, the encounter was fierce. The junta army bombarded with its two fighter jets as they suffered serious casualties during the fighting.
“The battle was intense at 6-mile, the entrance of Hpakant Town, at around 7:00 a.m., on February 11. The junta dogs (military soldiers) suffered many casualties. The KIA intercepted the junta column of 33rd Light Infantry Division leaving Hpakant Town at 6-mile. The junta dogs were bombing with its two fighter jets,” said KIA’s military source.
