SHAN STATE – The DPLF announced on September 26 that at least three soldiers were killed and many injured when they attacked the junta council troops stationed in Ba Htoo District.
On September 23rd, the 55th Division and the 66th Division stationed at Phayar Kosu Kone near Ale Chaung village, Ba Htoo Army District, was attacked by Dhanu People’s Liberation Front-DPLF. It was said that the attack took place at 8:30 in the morning.
“The fight lasted about 15 minutes. We don’t use heavy weapons; we use automatic rifles. We have confirmed that at least 3 people from their side have been killed and many injured,” a DPLF official said.
After the battle, the Junta Council troops strictly checked pedestrians on the Lawksawk -Kongbo-Pingdaya road, and it is reported that they are no longer allowed to pass through the road from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Due to these conditions, the DPLF has informed the people living in the Dhanu region to avoid the areas where the military council is stationed.
“When we attack like this, we face a lot of difficulties. Much more public participation is needed than in the current situation,” said the DPLF official.
In this battle, the DPLF soldiers were able to retreat unharmed.
During this month, the Dhanu People’s Liberation Front soldiers mobilized in Lawksawk township. Residents said that the junta council army has cut off the electricity to Kaungbo village since September 18th until now.
On July 29th, it was announced that the Dhanu People’s Liberation Front (DPLF) had been formed within the Dhanu Autonomous Region.
After this announcement, the military council army increased its strength and tightened security in the townships of the Dhanu Autonomous Region due to the activities of the DPLF forces.
