MON STATE – Maepali junta force’s camp in Bilin Township was attacked by dropping bombs with a drone, reported the Kyaik Hto Revolutionary Force (KRF).
Two bombs were said to be dropped at 9:19 a.m. on Sunday (May 21) and three others were dropped at 9:31 a.m. of the same day. The amount of casualties on the junta side is still being investigated and the members of the revolutionary force could return to their camp without any damage.
The attack was stated to be carried out by Kyaik Hto Revolutionary Force (KRF), Karen National Union/ Karen National Liberation Army (KNU/KNLA) and People’s Defence Forces such as PPDF-KD and TPDF. KRF released a statement saying that they will continue to fight till the end of the terrorist junta dictatorship.
In addition, Thaton People’s Defence Force (TPDF) reportedly attacked the junta’s No. 402 artillery battalion near Inn Shay Village, Thaton Township, with 40mm AK bombs and other small arms at around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday (May 21).
A clash of about five minutes occurred after the attack against the 402 battalion and the damage on the junta side is not yet confirmed while the PDF members could leave the battle with no casualties, according to an official of Thaton PDF.
