MANDALAY DIVISION: The junta’s soldiers ambushing in the rest house of Kyauktadda village, Madaya township, Mandalay division were said to have been attacked with mines, which caused the deaths of three soldiers, as said by the responsible person of Madaya Myohman Force.
Around 3:30 a.m. on January 6, Five atrocious junta’s soldiers ambushing in the rest house at the entrance of village from the atrocious junta’s forces stationing at the entrance of east Kyauktada village monastery on Mandalay-Mogok road, Madaya township to check the Mandalay-Mogok road and patrol around the region were reportedly attacked with mines, which caused the deaths of three soldiers and two to get wounded seriously.
“The junta’s soldiers have been stationing at the entrance of monastery in Kyayktada for 8 or 9 months. Those junta’s soldiers check on Mandalay-Mogok road in the afternoon by opening the checkpoint. At nights, they ambushed and patrolled around the region. Actually, it is known as Mandalay- Mogok Kyauktada Road Corner. They are seen patrolling around 12 midnight and ambushing nearby. We have observed their movements several days and planted the mines in the rest house. The mines were detonated at 3:30 a.m. this morning. When the mines exploded, there were five soldiers in the rest house. One died on the spot, another died on the way to clinic and another died at about 8 a.m. Two were known seriously wounded. The dead bodies of the soldiers were seen being carried to Madaya,” as said by the responsible person of Madaya Myohman Force.
Being attacked with mines, at about 7 a.m. the junta’s soldiers were seen arriving by 6 cars and 2 light trucks from Madaya. They were known to be deploying military actions in the places called Letwaegyi and Lamine, at the east of Kyauktada village and retreat around 1 p.m. In the Kyauktada village, there are several junta’s soldiers as many as a battalion.
Madaya Myohman Force has performed 95 military operations and eliminated 247 junta’s soldiers.
