MANDALAY DIVISION – An official from PDF Battalion 4 of Mandalay District told the media that three police stations, Mandalay Palace and Obo Prison Central Outposts were bombed by drones as a part of Operation Shwepyisoe.
“On December 20, No. 4, No. 6, and No. 9 Police Stations in Mandalay City, Obo Prison Center Guard, the dormitories of the Commander and Deputy Commander, Royal Palace No. 161 Guards Division and Yadanarpone Hall at the Mandalay Palace were bombed by revolutionary forces as Operation Shwepyisoe,” said an official from PDF Battalion-4 of Mandalay District.
He continued, “With the slogan “Flying the winning flag in Taungthaman” (the name of a famous lake in Mandalay), the Shwepyisoe operation is being carried out at a rapid pace, and on December 20, the police stations and military camps in Mandalay City were attacked. It was found that the roads in the city were closed and inspections were carried out. It is reported that the junta troops at No. 6 police station ran out of the station after the bomb explosion, and put up more barriers (in front of the station).”
Mandalay District PDF batallion 3, 4, 5, 6 and Shar Htoo Waw drone team (Team-6 Drop For Justice) reportedly made the joint attacks.
