KAREN STATE – Karenni People Liberation Army (KPLA) announced that it took part in the battle to capture the junta council’s 939 Molokyoe camp near Phaehta camp on the Salween River bank in northern Mutraw District, Kawthoolei Administrative Area.
KPLA said it fought together with KNLA, KA, KNDF, Federal Wings and Bawlakhe PDF Drone Force to capture that camp.
The revolutionary forces first attacked the captured junta camp on November 24 but weren’t able to capture it. As such, they laid siege to the camp and attacked again on December 16, successfully capturing the camp.
The Karen National Union (KNU) has also announced that KNLA and Karenni revolutionary forces had captured the junta council’s Molokyoe camp that has been stationed on the Salween River bank for over three decades.
Molokyoe camp is in Mutraw District of Karen State bordering Karenni State. Revolutionary forces were able to seize numerous weapons and ammunition of the junta council from this camp.
