MYANMAR – The Revolutionary alliance announced on November 16 that they have captured 1 strategic hill and 8 military bases of the junta council in Moebye-Pekhon, the border between Shan State and Karenni State, said an information officer of Urban Revolutionary Front (U.R.F).
8 junta bases from Waryisuphalai, Donduhtan, Pwekone 3, Pwekone 1, Nyaungwine, Pinkinkawkhu, Saungkan, Sikar 2 villages were conquered at 5:00 a.m. of November 11.
The junta council fired more than 500 times with heavy weapons and fired 2 times with fighter jets. Because of the attack, 4 civilians were killed and 6 were injured in the area of Moebye-Pekhon.
At noon on November 15, the Revolutionary alliance took control of the junta infantry battalion 518 which was stationed at Sattawyar hill in Moebye for more than one year. Sattawyar hill is also the main military center of junta council.
The junta council conducted 26 airstrikes between November 11 and November 15, when the 11.11 operation began in Moebye. On a single day on November 15th, the junta council’s Loilinlay division fired 15 rounds of heavy artillery and junta group from Moebye-Pekhon fired around 50 times. It is understood that the military council soldiers in the Pekhon area have abandoned their weapons and fled on foot, so the allied revolutionary forces are working on clearing the area.
The conditions of the acquisition of weapons and ammunition and the detention of prisoners of war will be announced at the end of the operation. Moebye 11.11 operation was carried out by the revolutionary forces on November 11 including the revolutionary alliances from Moebye and Pekhon; Southern Shan Strategy (1) Battalions (1001) MB-1, (1002) Battalion PK-1; (1006) Battalion PK-2; (1007) Battalion MB2; (1004) PKS PDF, Southern Shan Strategy (2) battalions which are (1003) battalion; (1005) Battalion (1008) Battalion (1009) Battalion 2 (1011) Battalion KNDF Strategy (1) The battalions which are KNDF BO-3; KNDF BO-11, KNDF BO-22 and the Urban Revolutionary Front (U.R.F).
