A local man from Kanpauk region said, “The nearby people just heard the explosions but didn’t know what happened in the compound of Naval Base.”
A source close to the People’s Defence Force said that the naval base had been attacked by drone.
Soon after the explosions, the soldiers from Naval Base started firing heavy artillery aiming at the villages from the east of the naval base around 20 times.
