YANGON DIVISION-The Yangon based Mobile Local Guerrilla Force has announced that a bomb attack was carried out on the office of the manager of Electricity in North Dagon Township in the evening of May 27.
The guerrilla force said that the attack on the office of electricity authority office was carried out at 8:13 p.m. at Padetha stop in North Dagon because the manager removed and cut off the meter boxes that force people to pay fines to the junta and collect fees for electricity, saying “If they continue to support the junta and make life difficult for citizens, their lives will not be guaranteed.”
A resident near the 7/8 junction in North Dagon confirmed the attack, saying, “It was very loud.”
Similarly, a bomb attack was carried out at 6:30 p.m. on May 27 on the Internal Revenue Department between the eastern part of 78th street and the corner of 75th D Street and Myawaddy Mingyi 1st Street in Pyigyitakhun Township, Mandalay Division, damaging to some parts of the building according to police news sources.
