SAGAING DIVISION – Police station of Myaung Town and Kyauk Yit Village where the junta soldiers usually stationed were being attacked by drones, and at least fifteen junta thugs were killed, the revolutionary group which operated the attacks said.
Joined Forces from nine revolutionary drone units attacked the junta’s Kyauk Yit camp with 13 bombs on October 2, at about 8 p.m., Ghost Team Ranger Myinmu (GTR-MMU) information officer said.
“The attack started on October 2 at around 8 p.m. A total of 13 bombs were dropped. Everything exploded in the camp. There may be casualties from junta council side. They returned fire using heavy weapons but the revolutionary forces were able to retreat without any injury,” he said.
The attack was carried out by nine revolutionary units which are Sagaing District Battalion (2), Company (1), Company (2), Ghost Team Ranger Myinmu (GTR-MMU), CDSOM (Myaung), CDSOM 001 (Myaung), Civil Revolution Force (CRF), Taloke PDF, MGN Ranger, Myinmu Defense Force (MMDF) and Myingyan District Battalion (6).
The Local Defence Forces have been attacking frequently towards the Myaung police station and the Kyauk Yit police station, two military bases in Myaung region.
