SAGAING DIVISION – According to an accountable person of Shwe Bo District Battalion 23, revolutionary forces attacked the junta council troops who were stationed in Shwe Bo Palace in Shwe Bo Town, Sagaing Division, using grenades. As a result, two junta council troops were reportedly killed.
It was known that the members of revolutionary forces attacked the junta hidden sentries in the bunkers near Shwe Bo Palace using seven grenades at around 3:10 p.m. on October 14. As a result, two junta council troops were said to have been killed and six troops were injured.
That attack was jointly carried out by the alliance of Shwe Bo District Battalion 23, Company 1 (Naung Yoe Army), Shwe Bo Kyar Gyi, Prefecture 4 motive mine force and Sheinmakar Prefecture People’s Defence Force.
Moreover, the accountable person continued that the members of PDF have found the dead body of a junta council troop which was buried in Sakhanthar Village, Wetlet Township, Sagaing Division.
Shwe Bo District Battalion 23 and its alliance forces attacked the junta council troops which launched an offensive into Sakhanthar Village using mines on the afternoon of September 5. As a result, six junta council troops were said to have been killed.
One out of six junta council troops who were killed, was killed while under treatment and the dead body of that troop was buried in the village. The other five were killed at the scene. The junta council troops placed the dead bodies inside civilian houses and set the houses on fire.
The accountable person mentioned that “according to the information received from civilians who were abducted by the fascist junta council troops as hostages, the members of Revolutionary Forces found the dead body of the junta council troop.”
