CHIN STATE – An official from Gangaw Township People’s Defence Organization (PDO) informed that two junta soldiers were killed when the car carrying 17 junta soldiers that ran away from the battle at Bonzone camp in Hakha Township was attacked.
Chin revolutionary forces including CNA and CDF attacked the terrorist junta council troops stationed at Bonzone camp on December 18. After the revolutionary forces successfully captured the camp, 17 junta soldiers were found to have run away.
Then on December 19 around 6 p.m., after receiving news that the junta escapees were running from Hakha towards Gangaw Town in a grey white truck, members of Gangaw PDO waited in advance and attacked them on the Gangaw-Hakha Road, killing two junta soldiers and seriously wounding five.
“Our PDO comrades waited for them and attacked after receiving news in advance. Two were killed and five were heavily wounded. The rest ran away in the car,” shared the official from Gangaw Township PDO.
