RAKHINE STATE – Arakan Army (AA) announced that they have taken over 142 junta bases during a month and a half after “Operation 1027” began.
The operation which began on October 27 has reached a month and a half, and AA has occupied 142 junta stations including military outposts, police stations and border control.
The junta outposts occupied by AA are said to be in Sittway, Pauktaw, Kyaukphyu, Yanbyal, Myaypone, Taungkote, Thandwe, Ann, Maungtaw, Buuthetaung, Rathaetaung, Ponnagyun, Paletwa, Kyauktaw, Mrauk U, and Minbya Townships.
The Three Brotherhood Alliance of AA, TNLA and MNDAA that launched Operation 1027 has taken over 400 junta stations in Rakhine and Northern Shan State.
