SAGAING DIVISION – The junta terrorists that came out to patrol on the Shwebo-Kyaukmyaung Road in Shwebo Township were attacked with mines by local defence forces, killing three junta forces and injuring seven, said Nalsimachar Shwebo Thar (No Border Shwebo native) Team.
Around 30 junta forces that came out of the Shwebo University Compound around 11 p.m. on September 15 to patrol on foot were said to have been blasted remotely between two gas stations by local defence forces.
“We attacked with over 20 (improvised) mines. We had to remotely detonate from a distance because we couldn’t attack them from a close range. The casualty reports will only be received the next morning. There were pools of blood left on the road,” said Bo. Mike Khel, the in-charge of Nalsimachar Shwebo Thar Team.
It is said that three were killed and seven were injured on the junta side but the junta forces didn’t even bother to return fire, only taking their dead and injured troops towards Shwebo on a car.
The junta casualty stats were reported by ground sources. The attack was jointly conducted by Nalsimachar Shwebo Thar Team and Shwebo Thakingyi Team.
A junta vehicle boarded with iron sheets was blasted near Myoshaung Road in Shwebo Township on September 14 night killing one junta soldier and injuring many.
