CHIN STATE – A joint force with the Chin Defense Force (CDF) attacked the Junta Council’s column on its way to Kyindwe, Kanpatlet Township, Chin State. There was casualties on junta’s side and photo evidences of the battle ground were released.
Kanpatlet CDF reported that fighting with junta convoy that bound for the military council camp in Kyindwe was intense, and many car mines and landmines exploded.
During the clearing of the area to the battle ground, the photo records showing the places where attacked with mines, some damaged car wheel and shell casings from the junta’s convoy. The photo also shows the damaged reserve fire brigade’s uniform, some bandages and clothing debris.
About 300 terrorist soldiers from the Junta’s Council have been moving from Saw Township to Kyindwe since mid-July, and the local defense teams have been attacking within Saw and Kanpatlet.
In addition, the Joint Defense Forces also attacked the junta’s column returning to Kyauktu, Saw Township after leaving Kanpatlet, which led to clashes.
A resident of Saw area said that the convoy that came out of Saw area has reached the Kyauktu Artillery Battalion base. He said that the junta column that went to Kyindwe has not yet reached the destination.
